There was much talk about Larry Reynolds being let go after this 2006-2007 season. Well, it was decided that they would not be renewing his contract for the upcoming season. A new coach has been chosen as well to take over the Men's Basketball team here at CSULB.
On April 7, 2007 Vic Cegles, head of Athletics here at CSULB announced that Dan Monson will take over as head coach for the CSULB men's basketball team. Though many are sad to see Larry Reynolds go especially after such a succcesful season this year, they are also excited to see where Monson can take the team. He has a vast knowledge of the game and an impressive resume, being a Division I head coach for the past 10 years.
