CSULB field athlete qualifies for Olympic trials

Long Beach State is proud to announce that All American Chris Richardson qualified for the Olympic trials. At the Mt. Sac decathlon he gathered 1781 points qualifying him for the Olympic trials for 2008. Last year he won the big west decathlon and was named all conference in the javelin. He also posted the second longest javelin throw in javelin history. We are proud of Chris and wish him the best of luck.
